Role Overview

The Head – PMC & MIS will be responsible for establishing and managing the Project Monitoring & Control (PMC) framework and Management Information Systems (MIS) across all EPC projects and business operations. The role ensures effective project planning, progress monitoring, reporting, and data-driven decision-making to support senior management in project execution and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Monitoring & Control
    • Establish and manage project monitoring systems for EPC projects including substations, BESS, and infrastructure projects.
    • Track project progress, milestones, schedules, and deliverables across multiple projects.
    • Identify potential delays and risks and provide corrective action recommendations.
Project Planning & Performance Tracking
    • Monitor project schedules prepared using Primavera / MS Project.
    • Review project progress reports and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
    • Track key project performance indicators including schedule adherence, cost performance, and resource utilization.
MIS & Reporting
    • Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) for project and business performance reporting.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and executive project status reports for senior management.
    • Develop dashboards and performance reports for management decision-making.
Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, finance, and commercial teams to collect project data.
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy of project reporting across departments.
Risk Management & Process Improvement
    • Identify project risks related to schedule, resources, and project performance.
    • Recommend improvements in project monitoring processes and reporting systems.
    • Support senior management in strategic planning and project governance.
Team Leadership
    • Lead the PMC and MIS team and ensure effective project monitoring practices across the organization.
    • Provide guidance to project planning engineers and MIS teams.
Qualification
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil)
    • MBA or Project Management certification preferred.
Experience
    • 15–20 years of experience in project planning, monitoring, and project controls within EPC or infrastructure industries.
    • Experience handling power transmission, substation, renewable energy, or large infrastructure projects preferred.
